The food scene is becoming unbelievable and the little villages along the water is like nothing you’ve ever seen. Go in early October when the leave are turning colour. Everyone is always welcome in our little piece of heaven 💕 July 5, 2019 Reply liza i'd recommend malta. malta is a really small country in europe and it's filled with so much interesting things. everything is really close together and there are a bunch of islands where you can travel to by boat. the language is beautiful and it's unlike your average trip to europe. July 15, 2019 Reply Leopoldo Ferrari Seriously, São Paulo has nothing special that you'd cross the world for. Nice bars, restaurants and a few museums yeah, but that's pretty much it. If you have a lot of time in Brazil why not but other than that go instead to the Northeast, the Amazon, Rio and the South. The state of São Paulo has better places than the capital. July 19, 2019 Reply John Corcoran I would offer the Faroe Islands. Beautiful, wild countryside. Plenty of seafood. Beautiful people. Houses with grass roofs. Undersea tunnels connect many of the islands (some are one lane and unlit but have two way traffic). The drawback is lack of tourist infrastructure. July 20, 2019 Reply Shaun Pierce Prague, underrated? I really don't think so, it's been very popular for several years. July 20, 2019 Reply Matt Smith Being from Nova Scotia it is super underrated as a tourist destination. Some of the best landscapes, cliffs, and views. The history of the province is very interesting as well. Don't just check out Halifax. Make sure to experience the Valley and Acadia, the Bay of Fundy, Cape Breton Highlands, and drive the South Shore. Finish the trip in Halifax with some drinks on the waterfront followed by a tradional Halifax style donair. July 20, 2019 Reply tarny11 Great video guys. How long did you stay in Uzbekistan and Oman. July 23, 2019 Reply Alextferguson ayeee repesent NS haha July 23, 2019 Reply lindsay J I've added a few to my bucketlist, thanks! I think Taiwan is super underrated. It's a tiny island with SO MUCH to see; absolutely incredible nature, open and welcoming people, gorgeous temples, amazing night markets, all of the best Chinese food from mainland, and a great public transportation system that makes it really easy to explore. Plus it's more affordable than China, Korea and Japan. Also, in the US–if you like New Orleans, you should check out the Low Country–starting in North Carolina, Ashville through the Blue Ridge Mountains on to Charleston, ending in Savannah is an epic road trip. July 25, 2019 Reply minimim89 I'm not sure when you've been to Turkey, but I've been last year and 10 years ago and it's much less multicultural and much more religious now. I was very surprised to see such huge difference, tbh. For the underrated countries, maybe you should take the countries that people mention, and go to the ones they're not even thinking about. Why not Paraguay, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Swaziland (I don't remember the new name…) or Bhutan (really her to get there, but I hope I can go there at some point). Take places that people don't even know exist. July 25, 2019 Reply GoooooodBia Poland Is amazing! Very charming and cheap! July 26, 2019 Reply Jenny Kiely Just visited Romania this year – it’s such a great country! We went to Bucharest, Brașov and Cluj-Napoca – all great, all with different highlights. One of the best days was when we visited the Libearty Bear Sanctuary to see brown bears – I would highly recommend that trip. People in Romania are fabulous – really kind and helpful, especially as our grasp of the language was…er…limited. ‘Multumesc’ means ‘thank you’ and will get you a long way! Loved these recommendations – particularly interested in Bolivia and Namibia – honestly have never considered Oman, but that looked lovely!Happy travelling! July 26, 2019 Reply Erin Skazalski Poland is one of my favorite places, but how did Laos not make it on this list?! July 27, 2019 Reply Joseph A myanmar is an underrate southeast asian country, $0,13 for water, $0.50 for grab rides. you should definately try their mong let saung dessert 🙂 July 28, 2019 Reply Phil Malone What about Albania? July 28, 2019 Reply Serena Lamotte @vagabrothers Can you two make a video for what kind of healthy food/snacks you pack for when traveling internationally, or even just in the states. I've backpacked/traveled a lot throughout the states and internationally that a lot of people ask me how i don't go broke from just eating at airports. Explaining the food packing is definitely something i think a lot of other people should understand like what to bring, can or can't bring because i think a lot of people would be surprised on what is allowed or isn't. etc. July 28, 2019 Reply Lee's House Sliema Malta Malta? leeshouse.com.mt July 29, 2019 Reply Travel How about Baltimore? Feces, rodents, garbage – sounds great to me July 30, 2019 Reply jessicahobin Novia scotia (cape breton) and Newfoundland are incredible. Vancouver and Banff get all the glory in Canada but the eastern coast is really, really cool. It's a cool mix of Ireland and Canada 🙂 plus, you can road trip and camp around all the maritime provinces easily. July 30, 2019 Reply Gaby Bustamante Great video! Buenos aires is another awesome destination August 2, 2019 Reply Inferno Things to do in romania: hike, explore the castles ,eat good food, don' t land in bucharest , land in cluj , the public transportation is ok there and is cleaner, don't take a cab, they rip you off, take a uber , bolt or yango, never eat in the old town is to damn expensive and for 5 euro you can get a full meal in a fancy place rather than a kebap, wear your backpack on front not your back , people steal in public transportation and they might cut your bag with a razor blade to get to whats inside, never book a hotel or airbnb in the old town the building is in a hight risk of colapsing , never trust people and exchange places use your revolut to pay what ever you need, exchange around 40$ that will be enough for 3 days for two people, some store prices: pepsi / cola 2l bottle is around 1.3.$ , 2 l water bottle is aroud 65 cents , pizaa slice is 1$ , a decent coffee its 1.1$ and you can get it from 5togo is the ghetto version of starbuks , you can get a meal for 5 $, the public transpot include the tram and the bus for 2$ / day pass or 0.5 for trip on a buss or tram line, a subway/metro ticket is 60 cents for one time or 2 $ for a day pass August 3, 2019 Reply Diana G. Romania is cheap but no, we don't have forests. We literally destroy everything related to nature:(( August 5, 2019 Reply Frank Smith This video is actually very useful…for knowing which countries to NOT go to if you want to avoid meeting douchebag hipster white "travelers" represented by most of the talking heads in the video. August 6, 2019 Reply Laura Marshall I loved Oman! Lots of untouched beautiful turquoise beaches. It’s on the Mediterranean so the beaches are identical to Greek and Italian beaches, minus the crowds. Also the Albania alps👌🏽stunning. Albania has a lot to offer from the nature, friendly people and history. I’d say it’s a hidden gem in Europe and it’s really cheap compared to its surrounding countries. August 12, 2019 Reply AveCox https://avecox.me/blog/travel-tips-krakow-poland Krakow!! Also Zakopane is a really beautiful mountainous town in the south of Poland with incredible scenery August 12, 2019 Reply Les Mqel The title says most underrated and low budget…. so lots of those countries listed not precisely fall below under these categories. For example, Turkey is very well known and one of the most visited country in the world. USA, Canada and Australia are not for budget travellers. For me the top 2 should be:1. Qatar because most people would think when they hear middle eastern countries are war, not safe, poverty and just a plain dessert but little that they know Qatar is actually the richest country in the world with lots of skyscrapers, among the lowest crime rate in the world and having one of the best western tolerance approaches compared to neighbouring Middle Eastern countries.2. Malaysia. Totally overshadowed by almost every single neighbour they have. Philippine,Singapore,Bali (Indonesia) and Thailand but they actually have the richest culture among those neighbouring countries. Their tourism slogan says it all “Malaysia truely Asia”. This is because you can get the taste of almost all main culture in Asia under one plate. From Indonesian foods, Malay foods, chinese foods, Indian foods, Thais foods and Arabian foods. They celebrate all 4 main worlds biggest religious celebrations. Reasonably cheap yet still modern n well organised country. August 14, 2019 Reply Chris Kelso My girlfriend and I are active backpackers and we absolutely love yalls videos. We recently went to South America for a few months hitting Colombia , Peru and Bolivia! Definitely go to Bolivia; it is beautiful , rich with culture, cheap to travel and the death road is epic! Could not reccomend it more. Keep it up guys! Side note: it is a time consuming process getting into the country as an American. Be prepared to produce documents such as ; proof of stay, full typed up itinerary, credit card statements, mult. ID's, etc.. August 16, 2019 Reply 谭牧遥 China is a good choice😃😃 August 18, 2019 Reply MrSibi101 Romania…plenty to do…verry cheap…mountains…Black sea with resorts like Miami South Beach…Danube delra unique in Europe….cheap accomodation…ceap foid and drinks….beatiful mountains…stay in agroturismo…eat local traditional food with products made right there August 20, 2019 Reply MrSibi101 Instambul is fantastic but be careful at your restaurants bills ….they try to cheat…overcharge….and loads of imigrants tryng to sell all kind of stuff to make a living August 20, 2019 Reply Karin Fürst Growing up in Sweden, everyone was traveling to Turkey. I'm one of the few in my friends group that hasn't been. It is a beautiful country from what I've heard but it's definitely not underrated in Sweden. August 20, 2019 Reply Cynthia Castanon How about Bulgaria…Plovdiv & Verna look amazing & so does Belogradchik (like something out of a Dr. Suesscreation, with rock formations in odd shapes)….also Matera (Ancient city made of cave dwellings📷) & Alberobello (cute fairy-tale Smurf-houses) in Italy. August 22, 2019 Reply Adrien AV Speaking of the South… I feel like a very underrated city is Natchez, Mississippi. It’s sitting on the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Vicksburg. Beautiful historical town with a scenic river walk, antebellum house tours, great restaurants, and just an overall chill, layed back vibe. I’d suggest going in the spring when they do their Spring Pilgrimage. You won’t be disappointed. August 23, 2019 Reply Amanda Gambell The picture used of the rocks for Nova Scotia is not in Nova Scotia it is in New Brunswick. It is called Hopewell Rocks or Flowerpot Rocks I have been there a couple times and it is great. Although it would be only around a 3 hour drive to Hopewell Rocks from Halifax, Nova Scotia. August 24, 2019 Reply Sofia White Albania is crazy underrated … August 26, 2019 Reply Ingrid On The Go I have to say that Prague is actually super touristy already 😅 August 26, 2019 Reply Andreas Casablancas in my life wishlist I'd like to know/make these things:1. Take a hike on the swiss alps, namely the Rosa Hütte and take the Glaciar Express2. Get to know the Saharan Desert and watch the stars at night while camping at the dunes3. Go a karaoke in Japan, Vietnam, South Korea, or Malaysia (no Thailand) and experience local cuisine4. Experience the wildlife of a safari in the heart of east Africa5. Spend somg time in the bizzare and underworld life of NYC on those sketchy places6. Take the Russian Train that traverses the whole siberia making one or two day stops on some cities7. See the northern lights, preferrably in Finland, in an Ice hotel, and take the sauna experience as well8. visit Both the galapagos Islands and the Eastern Islands in south america9. Spend a night at a deserted atoll in oceania with little to no people surrounding me and see the coral reefs10. Visit antartica and see the local fauna there as a part of an expedition. So far, I'm doing the number 2 and number 3 probably on the next couple of years, but some aren't really that expensive to achieve, I'll die happily once I achieve them all.
