This area of L.A. is so tough that if a single woman enters the park, they insist to accompany her while there. My favorite stone there is a monument to a family of circus performers, Alfredo Codona. The carving shows a ring with a broken rope, which was the cause of his deatch. I have the weekend off, so I am going to try to catch up on some of your videos. Watching them in order.Again , gracias! ! July 28, 2018 Reply Daniel Thompson Very neat videos, it surprises me that some of these very big stars are buried rather inconspicuously. Ray charles of all people just seems to be stuck away upstairs, I would have thought he would have had a more prominent place and memorial, same goes for a lot of these other big stars! Very interesting July 30, 2018 Reply Brisdad53 "The Little Mouse" (Chaplin's young son) is actually a French fairy tale creature who sneaks into children's bedrooms and replaces the teeth placed under their pillows with coins… sound familiar? August 1, 2018 Reply JustaCatLover Really love your films! Very tastefully & respectfully done! Please do more of them! It's strange that I've never seen any one doing films like this when so many fans would love this! Also, a bit of trivia, if you didn't already know…that photo of Betty Grable in her bathing suit with her back to the camera was taken that way because she was pregnant at the time!🙂 Thank you for your fantastic films! August 4, 2018 Reply Patricia Moser I’m a bit confused how William Thomas (born in 1931) could have been in WWII if he would have been only 10 years old when the US entered the war? August 30, 2018 Reply Heidi Muller Could you please do a video of famous sports people please or a video of modern celebrities, thanks September 11, 2018 Reply jeffrey mcfadden the marker for buckwheat is messed up and has been a point of contention for some time.WW2 (for the USA,1941-45)according to the marker, buckwheat would be 14 when the war ended. USA did not draft 14 year olds.buckwheat served in the ARMY in the mid 1950s, which is more accurate for his age. why the marker says WW2 is a mystery. October 30, 2018 Reply Chris Lawson Thanks AD. I like the story of Ray buying a Corvette, on the way home he told his driver he wanted to drive his car, he thought he was joking finally he pulled over Ray started driving on a not so busy street. The guy told him left n right n straight,so he got on the gas to feel the power slid into someones porch, a cop shows up asked who was driving, Ray said me, cop laugh's goes to the driver to give him a ticket Ray claimed it again cop writes Ray the ticket, he paid for the porch guess the car to get fixed. The questions that were asked most likely. Ray why you wanna buy a car, Ray why you wanna drive,. Who hit your porch, who wrecked the Vette? Who did you give a ticket to? He mighta flew too. Lol November 4, 2018 Reply Anabel Gardh SO ,SO BEAUTIFUL CEMETERY . November 5, 2018 Reply Stuart Kerr Really enjoy your videos. Puzzling that on William Thomas's grave marker that he was in WW2. Is the gentleman with the beard the narrator of this series? February 22, 2019 Reply Bonnie Hogancamp I was so glad when I saw you include the grave of The Little Mouse. My Dad worked as a grounds keeper and guard at this cemetery for 17 years. He would point out interesting head stones. On Tuesday nights he locked up the Mausoleums and he would walk all the way to the back and turn out the lights. The windows gave enough light for him to see to get out side. We said "Daddy, aren't you scared to be by yourself?" He said " The dead won't hurt you , only the living can do that" I actually gained a healthy attitude about death from him and respect his wishes of not wanting us to keep going to the his grave, but to go on living. Also you missed the circus performers grave. She was a trapeeze performer and the rope broke. She fell and was killed. Her headstone has a broken rope on it. And Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus performers would visit her grave when they came to town. February 23, 2019 Reply Mike 1958 The ending I awesome! May 29, 2019 Reply nancyinreno it would have been nice to see a picture of Caesar Romero in his younger days and not just a pic of him as the Joker from Batman. he was quite a sexy leading man in his time. the Joker is only small part of his legend and doesn't do his acting talent or good looks justice.
