Fire Station No. 7 makes 2018 most endangered historic places

there’s a new twist in the fate of Roanoke’s historic fire station number seven the station earned a spot on the 2018 Virginia’s most endangered historic places list preservation Virginia selected it based on the city’s intention to bring it to the ground in favor of a new one the city elected to put that plan on hold after public outcry and supporters see this as another positive sign it definitely helps keep everybody you know keep it in the forefront of everybody’s attention both the community and the city because while we are extremely encouraged by the city’s decision recently it the threat is still there in case you’re wondering also on that list were the green pastures recreation area an area in Clifton Forge and the seamy level railroad depot in Pittsylvania County
