Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary

all of Spain and was once believed by the lands’s indigenous

The bad thing about Spain is that is full of thieves: has the highest pick pockets crime rate in the world. I don't like the Spaniard accent, it sounds like they are spitting on people. The conquistadors when they came to America they were totally ruthless and evil against the passive native people that were welcoming them. and now is time that Spain let the Catalan people free, they are an independent wealthy nation that has been exploited by Spain.

Tenerife leaves a lot to be desired. All its sandy beaches are artificial. Do not be fooled by the tourist campaigns, which claim to have beaches and landscapes that do not correspond to the island and are copied from Gran Canaria to be sold. I have visited all the islands for work and as GRAN CANARIA none. It has everything, dream beaches like Maspalomas or Las Canteras (in the heart of the city), the center of the island is incredible with a unique landscape diversity and the north is green and full of contrast. The city has one of the best climates in the world according to international magazines and the best carnival I've ever seen, in an open and modern city where people are very friendly and hospitable.

I'm from Morocco and love the canary islands – Historically the canary islands are inhabited by the berber/Amazigh people from North Africa before the Spain's annexation, from then cultures and habits were harmonised to make the canarian identity what it is today. By the way Tenerife is a berber name meaning "The land of thirst" even though others suggested it meant "white mountain" but i believe the former is the most accurate as i'm native berber speaker.
